LỜI KÊU GỌI KHẨN CẤP

Ngày 17-1-2007, ông Đỗ Nam Hải trên đường về nhà bằng xe máy, đã bị một nhân viên an ninh cố ý đâm xe máy của anh ta vào xe máy của ông Đỗ Nam Hải rất may cả hai bên không bị ngã, nên không có thương tích. Nhân viên an ninh này đã theo dõi ông Hải trong nhiều năm qua, khi ông Hải yêu cầu nhân viên an ninh này giải thích về việc làm của anh ta thì anh ta trả lời là không cố ý. Sau khi ông Đỗ Nam Hải về đến nhà, cất xe máy và sang bên kia đường nơi những nhân viên an ninh đang đứng đợi để theo dõi ông. Ông Hải nói chuyện với nhân viên an ninh rằng ông không có mâu thuẫn với họ, ông chỉ có tranh đấu cho công bằng và lẽ phải vì vậy lần sau họ không nên làm như vậy. Người nhân viên an ninh lúc trước nổi cáu và nói thẳng ra rằng: “hôm nay đâm xe như vậy chỉ là nhẹ nhàng thôi, lần sau chúng tôi làm thì anh không còn cơ hội để gặp chúng tôi nói chuyện đâu.” Sau đó ông Hải đã gọi điện thoại cho cấp trên của họ và nói rằng bất kỳ chuyện gì sảy ra với ông trên đường khi tham gia giao thông thì công an Việt Nam phải hoàn toàn chịu trách nhiệm.

Ủy ban Nhân quyền Việt Nam thấy rằng lời đe dọa của lực lượng an ninh cộng sản sẽ gây tai nạn cho những người đang đấu tranh cho tự do, dân chủ và nhân quyền ở Việt Nam là hết sức nghiêm trọng.

Hiện nay tính mạng và sức khoẻ của những người tranh đấu cho tự do, dân chủ và nhân quyền ở Việt Nam đang bị đe dọa bởi an ninh cộng sản. Bất kỳ một tai nạn nào sảy ra cho các nhà dân chủ cũng sẽ bởi bàn tay sắp đặt của an ninh cộng sản.

Ủy ban Nhân quyền Việt Nam kêu gọi chính quyền cộng sản Việt Nam yêu cầu các lực lượng an ninh của mình không được gây ra tội ác chống lại các nhà đấu tranh dân chủ cũng như nhân dân Việt Nam.

Ủy ban Nhân quyền Việt Nam kêu gọi chính phủ các nước, các tổ chức bảo vệ quyền con người quốc tế và toàn thể nhân dân tiến bộ trên toàn thế giới hãy lên tiếng bảo vệ những người đang tranh đấu cho tự do, dân chủ và nhân quyền ở Việt Nam, ngăn chặn bàn tay tội ác đẫm máu của các lực lượng an ninh của chính quyền cộng sản Việt Nam.

AN URGENT CRY FOR HELP

On January 17, 2007, when riding his motorbike home, Mr. Do Nam Hai was deliberately clipped by an undercover security agent, fortunately neither side crashed nor was injured. This security agent has been following Mr. Do Nam Hai for the last several years, when Hai requested that he’d explain his action, the man told him it was not intentional. After arriving home, Mr. Hai parked his motorbike and crossed the street to talk to these agents who have been stalking him. Hai told them that he has no qualms with them, that he only fights for justice and reason therefore they should not attempt to do things like that again. The one who’s collided with him got crossed and blurted out: “Today it’s just a small fender bender (bumping incident), next time when we do it, you would not have a chance to confront us again.” After which, Mr. Hai called their superior and told them that if anything happens to him in traffic the Vietnamese Security Police will have to bear responsibility.

The Committeee for Human Rights in Vietnam recognizes the threat of causing accidents to democracy and human rights activists by the security police as very grave and serious threats.
Presently, the lives and health of these activists are being compromised by the communist authority. Therefore it is not farfetched to state that whatever accidents that might befall the dissidents would be the handiwork of the communist security agents.

The Committee for Human Rights in Vietnam is calling on the government of Vietnam to order its police authority to cease and desist in their actions to cause harm to the activists as well as the citizens of Viet-Nam.

The Committee for Human Rights in Vietnam is calling on various international governments, human rights organizations and all citizens of civil societies to raise their voices in defending the people who are struggling for democracy and basic civil rights and liberties.
Please help us stop the bloody and criminal hands of the Hanoi government security forces.

APPEL URGENT

Le 17-1-2007, M. Do Nam Hai rentrait chez lui en vélomoteur, lorsqu’il été heurté volontairement par un agent de la sécurité, heureusement sans chute, il n’en est résulté donc aucune blessure. Cet agent filait et surveillait M. Hai depuis plusieurs années. Quand celui-ci lui demande d’expliquer son geste, il a nié avoir agi de façon intentionnelle. Arrivé à la maison, après avoir rangé son véhicule M. Hai a traversé la rue pour lui parler et aux autres qui stationnaient là à le surveiller, leur disant qu’il n’avait avec eux aucun différend ou problème personnel, qu’il ne faisait que travailler pour la justice et la raison, aussi leur a-t-il demandé de ne plus agir de la sorte à l’avenir. Le premier agent s’est mis alors en colère et a déclaré ouvertement : « Cette fois-ci on n’a que provoqué un petit accident, la prochaine fois que nous agirons, vous n’auriez plus la possibilité de nous parler ». Après coup M. Hai a téléphoné à leurs supérieurs pour les prévenir que désormais il tiendrait pour seule responsable la police vietnamienne s’il lui arrivait un accident de la circulation important .

Le Comité Pour Les Droits De L'Homme Au Vietnam considère comme particulièrement inquiétantes et graves les menaces des forces de sécurité communistes de provoquer des accidents visant ceux qui travaillent en faveur de la liberté, la démocratie et les droits de l'homme au Vietnam.

Il est clair que la santé et la vie même des militants vietnamiens de la liberté, de la démocratie et des droits de l'homme sont expressément menacées par la sécurité communiste. Nous pensons que dans le futur tout accident pourrait être envisagé comme une machination mise en place par celle-ci.

Le Comité Pour Les Droits De L'Homme Au Vietnam font appel aux gouvernements de tous pays, aux organisations internationales de défense des droits de l'homme et à tous les peuples progressistes du monde, leur demandant de se déclarer prêts à protéger ceux qui militent pour la liberté, la démocratie et les droits de l'homme au Vietnam, et à arrêter la main criminelle et tachée de sang de ces forces de sécurité et policières du pouvoir communiste vietnamien.
